Jack is the timekeeper of the last half-century, from Chas. Lloyd to Miles to Keith. Genius at play.

Chicks language is so unique yet influenced by the best like Bud Powell and McCoy . Miss him much

I think it would be hilarious if someone were to isolate his vocals, compile them and then release a record called "Keith Jarrett Sings the American Songbook." 😊

There’s very few piano players out there that can play a melody as moving as Keith Jarrett and his trio with Gary Peacock, and Jack De jeanette is beyond compare on a music communication level

Wish he could still perform

This is one of the hardest piece I've ever tried to play the drums. I had to chart my own drum chart. And I think I'll have to play it another 5 times or more before I dare make a recording of myself.

1991 im a 18 year old, just joined the military, kid, living in a state where i dont know a soul. My first "big" purchase was a cd player and two cds . I had no clue who either of these artists were. But their cd covers look cool. Anita Baker - Compositions and this one. I played this cd CONSTANTLY! This thing still gives me chills.
